How and why we use personal data.

Collecting this data helps us to better understand what visitors need from us.  We aim to collect the absolute minimum information necessary for us to provide our services.

We use this information to:

  • maintain and update the site.

  • process orders

  • help us better understand what visitors are looking for to help us develop and, hopefully, improve our services.

  • if you write us a review this may be published on the Just Pictures website, on marketing materials and on social media; however, no other personal information will be visible outside of a name.

How we use and store images and for how long.

We use images to give examples of completed works for other site visitors to see when they visit the site and then only when we have permission from the owner of the image that this is acceptable.

We store your images securely on a protected drive for the time it takes to complete the work and allow enough time for any issues that occur as a result of say a postal problem or other unforeseen issue that prevents data reaching you, see 'retention of data'.  We do not keep images for any longer than necessary unless you have permitted us to use them on the Just Pictures website.

Retention of personal data.

Images and client details are retained for 30 days beyond the completion of an order just in case an issue arises that requires a re-sending of materials, possibly due to an unforeseen I.T. or a postal delivery issue; this should be sufficient time to avoid a complete loss of a client's materials providing timely contact is made with us.  We do continue to hold basic personal information relating to orders for essential administrative records and to ensure we comply with our legal obligations that are part of the normal day to day operations of running the business.

Do you share personal data with other organisations?

Personal data is not disclosed to anyone outside of Just Pictures except:

  • where the law requires us to do so

How we protect your personal data:

We ensure that appropriate administrative, technical and physical processes to safeguard your personal data are in place are monitored and are appropriately maintained.
